The Foundation is an independent grant giving charity established in 1991, with generous help from Tesco and Test Valley Borough Council.

Since its inception the Foundation has distributed some £75,000 in grants, awards, bursaries and underwriting to individual artists and arts organisations throughout the Test Valley.

In addition to helping groups and organisations, the Foundation seeks to encourage and assist the development of talented individuals resident in the borough.

The Foundation can assess, encourage, support and influence the development of challenging and experimental new projects and offers a pool of expertise in the arts.

The Foundation is responsive to the needs of the diverse resident community and grant applications are especially welcomed from young people and the elderly.

Test Valley Arts Foundation is supported by Test Valley Borough Council and Hampshire County Council.
