Artists at the outset of their careers aged between 16 and 26 years. Applications from talented school leavers are particularly welcome.

Artists working in any art form.

The award is for materials, research (not university/academic research) or a specific project.

The maximum award is normally £1,000.

This award is sponsored by a member of the Colvin family in memory of the late Michael Colvin MP, founder of the Test Valley Arts Foundation.

This award is open for the further artistic education of school and college leavers.
